On Windows 10, Windows Defender keeps doing a lot of disk activity, even when I1m logged on and trying to get some work done ;-)
Isn`t a good anti-virus solution supposed to work in the background ?
As there are little configuration options (the config section has been dumbed down from windows 8) and it`s nearly impossible to shut Windows Defender off, the only way seems to be to install another anti-virus program..
So I`ve decided to look for alternatives - here are some :
Bitdefender Antivirus Free 2014
AVG Free Antivirus
Avira Free Antivirus 2015
360 Total Security
AVG 2015 Internet Security
McAfee Total Protection
McAfee All Access Security
ESET Endpoint Security
Panda Cloud Antivirus
One can only be amazed how this sort of stupid behaviour can still exist in Windows. Isn`t anyone testing this before release ? |
